Approx. 2,000 Hina dolls including seven-tiered sets, Kimekomi dolls and miniature Hina dolls will be displayed.


Tatebayashi Cherry Blossom Festival

Late March – Early April

(4)Tsutsujigaoka Park Inn (14 cherry trees)
Outline
Attracting many cherry blossom viewers at four sites in the city during the blossom season, the festival continues into the evenings with paper lanterns illuminating the cherry blossoms creating a magical atmosphere.
*Paper lanterns are lighted till (1)10:00 PM and (2)(3)9:00 PM.


Annual World’s No.1 Koi Nobori(Carp streamers) Town Festival

Outline
At five sites in Tatebayashi city, more than 5,000 large and small decorative carp streamers swim in the spring wind and above the waters. Enjoy the spectacular view of these once a year streamers.
The 5,283 carp streamers were displayed in May 2005, which was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest number of carp streamers displayed at one time.


Tsutsuji Festival (Azalea Festival)

Mid April – Mid May

Gunma Tsutsujigaoka Park
Outline
About 10,000 azaleas of more than 50 varieties bloom within the 12.6 hectares of the park. The 800-year-old large Yama Tsutsuji (mountain azalea) bushes, including some over five meters tall one, can rarely be seen anywhere in the world and are definitely a must-see. 
During the festival, “Tsutsuji Guides” will show you around the park explaining some of the most remarkable trees free of charge.

Admission fee applies during the Tsutsuji Festival.
